Eligibility:

This scholarship in Haryana is specifically available for children whose parents are engaged in unclean occupations or manual scavenging.


The scholarship is open to students studying in any grade from 1 to 10.


Duration of Scholarship:

The scholarship is awarded for a period of ten months in an academic year.


Scholarship Amount:

For Hostellers (Grade 3 to 10): Rs. 700/- per month for ten months. Additional one-time grant of Rs. 1000/- per student per year for hostellers.


For Day Scholars (Grade 1 to 10): Rs. 110/- per month for ten months. Additional one-time grant of Rs. 750/- per student per year for all day scholars.



Dr Ambedkar Medhavi Chhattar Sansodhit Yojna


Eligibility criteria:

- Residency requirement: Must be a resident of Haryana.

- Category: Must belong to either Scheduled Caste or Backward Classes.

- Scholarship amount: Range of Rs. 8000 to 12,000 per year.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC students


Eligibility criteria:

- Educational qualification: Must have successfully completed Matric, Higher Secondary, or any higher examination from a recognized Board/University/Institute.


- Academic level: Must be enrolled in an intermediate, graduate, or postgraduate level course.


- Category: Must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.

- Residency requirement: Must be a resident of Haryana.

- Field of study: Must continue studying in the same field or group.

- Family income: The total family income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.


Scholarship amount:

- The scholarship amount varies from Rs. 230 to 1200 per month, depending on the course or other factors.

Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC students


Eligibility criteria:

- Annual income: Should be below Rs. 1.5 lakh.

- Educational qualification: Must have successfully completed Matric, Higher Secondary, or any higher examination from a recognized Board/University/Institute.

- Category: Must belong to the Backward Classes (BC) category.

- Residency requirement: Must be a resident of Haryana.

- Field of study: Must continue studying in the same field or group.


Scholarship amount:

- The scholarship amount varies from Rs. 160 to 750 per month, depending on the course or other factors.

Financial Assistance for Higher Competitive entrance examinations to SC/BC candidates through private institutions


Eligibility criteria:

- Residency requirement: Must be a resident of Haryana.

- Category: Must belong to either Scheduled Caste (SC) or Backward Classes (BC).

- Annual income: The total family income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.

- Competitive exam qualification: Must possess the necessary qualifications for a competitive exam.

- Exam attempts: Students will have two opportunities to take a specific exam.


Scholarship amount:

- The scholarship amount can go up to Rs. 10,000, subject to the terms and conditions set by the authority.

Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Minority Students


Eligibility criteria:

- Annual income: The total family income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.

- Course: Must be pursuing a technical or professional graduate or post-graduate course.

Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for excellence in education, Haryana


Eligibility criteria:

- Must be a student domiciled in Haryana.

- Must be studying in classes 6 to 12.


Scholarship amount:

- One male and one female student from each school are selected to receive the scholarship at the following rates:

- Classes 6 to 8: Rs. 750

- Classes 9 to 12: Rs. 1000

Monthly Stipend for BPL & BC-A students


Eligibility criteria:

- Educational qualification: Must be studying in classes 1 to 8.

- Category: Must belong to either Backward Class - Block A (BC-A) or Below Poverty Line (BPL).

- Residency requirement: Must be a resident of Haryana.


Scholarship amount:

- For classes 1 to 5: Rs. 75 per month for boys and Rs. 150 per month for girls, valid for one year.

- For classes 6 to 8: Rs. 100 per month for boys and Rs. 200 per month for girls, valid for one year.

Cash Award Scheme for SC


Eligibility criteria:

- Educational qualification: Must be studying in classes 1 to 8.

- Category: Must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.

- Residency requirement: Must be a resident of Haryana.


Scholarship amount:

- One-time allowance at the beginning of the year, based on the following rates:

- Class 1: Rs. 740

- Class 2: Rs. 750

- Class 3: Rs. 960

- Class 4: Rs. 970

- Class 5: Rs. 980

- Classes 6 to 8: Rs. 1250

Annusuchit Jati Chhatra Ucch Shiksha Protsahan Yojna


Eligibility criteria:

- Category: Must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.

- Residency requirement: Must be a resident of Haryana.

- Gender: Female.

- Family income: Should be between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 2.4 lakh.

- The candidate must not be receiving any other scholarship.


Scholarship amount:

- The scholarship amount varies from Rs. 5000 to 14,000 per year, depending on the course or other factors.

Promotion of Science Education (POSE) Scholarship


Eligibility criteria:

- The candidate must be enrolled in BSc (3-year), BS (4-year), MSc/MS (5-year integrated program), or MSc (2-year program) in basic and natural sciences at a College/University in India.

- For HBSE (Haryana Board of School Education) 12th students, a minimum of 85% marks is required. For students from other boards like CBSE and ICSE, a minimum of 90% marks in the 12th class is required.

- For applying at the postgraduate level, a minimum of 75% marks in BSc or BA is required.


Scholarship amount:

- For BSc: Rs. 4000 monthly stipend plus an annual research mentorship grant of Rs. 12000.

- For BS: Rs. 4000 monthly stipend for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year, and Rs. 6000 per month during the 4th year, plus an annual research mentorship grant of Rs. 17000.

- For Integrated MSc: Rs. 4000 monthly stipend for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year, Rs. 6000 per month during the 4th and 5th year, plus an annual research mentorship grant of Rs. 22000.

- For 2-year MSc: Rs. 6000 per month stipend plus an annual research mentorship grant of Rs. 10000.

1. Haryana Scholarship Registration 2023:


- Open the official website: hryscbcschemes.in.

- On the homepage, click on the "Apply For Post Matric Scholarship" link, which will take you to a new page.

- Read the instructions carefully and click on the "Proceed to Registration" button.

- Fill in personal details, contact details, and create a password.

- Submit the information by clicking the "Save & Proceed" button.

- An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP in the provided field to verify your number.
